High School Musical 3: Begins Filming in Utah

Here's some recent updates on High School Musical 3

May 3rd:

Bright and early this morning, the stars are at Salt Lake City's East High for the shooting of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year." Gov. Jon Huntsman welcomed the cast yesterday morning at a news conference at East High School. In the third movie, it's senior year and sweethearts Troy and Gabriella are preparing to attend different colleges. Zac Efron, who plays Troy Bolton, was asked how this third musical will be different than the other two hits. "We're kind of deciding for ourselves what we're going to do with our futures, whether it be college; I know for my character, basketball is a huge priority," he said. The film is scheduled for release this fall, but Vanessa Hudgens, who plays Gabriella Montez, refused to give away the romantic plot. "You definitely see relationships blossom. I'm not gonna give it away, but it's really good," she said. As for the real Wildcat students, they say they love the publicity for the school. The movie will be in theaters October 24th.

Hey everyone ! Alright, so I got some news about Portrait Magazine that involves Disney Channel and Disney Channel Original Movies that their editor Kat sent me :)

Portrait Magazine has recently launched their May issue and it includes an interview with Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" star Mitchel Musso. They also have an interview with Kevin Schmidt talking about his new project with Alyson Stoner from Camp Rock. "

Camp Rock is also nominated to be next month's cover image.

So please check that out, I honestly can't wait so see Camp Rock on next months cover :)
